Accessibility Statement
Statement date: April 27, 2025 · Next scheduled review: October 27, 2025
SYSTEMDRVN is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to our website at systemdrvn.com.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. There are three levels of conformance: Level A (minimum), Level AA (standard), and Level AAA (enhanced). SYSTEMDRVN aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address all known gaps and achieve full conformance.
This site also aims to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III as it applies to places of public accommodation operating online, and with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act where applicable.
Technical Specifications
Accessibility of this website relies on the following technologies working in combination with the user's web browser and any assistive technologies installed on the user's device:
- HTML5
- WAI-ARIA 1.2
- CSS3
- JavaScript (React 19)
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
Measures Taken to Support Accessibility
SYSTEMDRVN takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of this website:
Semantic HTML Structure
All pages use proper HTML5 landmark elements including header, main, nav, and footer so that screen readers and assistive technologies can accurately interpret page structure and navigate efficiently.
WAI-ARIA Roles and Labels
Interactive components, including the Alignment Audit modal, use appropriate ARIA roles, live regions, and descriptive labels to communicate state and purpose to assistive technologies.
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements including buttons, links, form fields, and modal dialogs are fully operable via keyboard alone. The Alignment Audit modal traps focus within the dialog while open and restores focus to the triggering element on close. The Escape key closes the modal at any point.
Visible Focus Indicators
Visible focus indicators are present on all interactive elements. We do not suppress the browser's native focus ring. Focus is programmatically managed when dialogs open and close to ensure users are never disoriented.
Colour Contrast
Text and interactive elements meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and UI components. Colour is never used as the sole means of conveying information.
Form Accessibility
All form inputs are associated with visible labels. Required fields are indicated both visually and programmatically. Error messages are announced via live regions and describe the specific correction needed.
Progress Indicators
The multi-step Alignment Audit includes a progress bar with role, aria-valuenow, aria-valuemin, and aria-valuemax attributes so screen reader users can understand their position within the flow.
Skip Navigation
A skip-to-main-content link is available at the top of each page for keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation and reach the primary content directly.
Responsive and Zoom-Safe Design
The site is fully responsive and functions correctly at all viewport sizes, including when text is enlarged up to 200% using browser zoom. No content is lost or obscured at increased text sizes. The viewport meta tag permits user scaling up to 500%.
Reduced Motion Support
Animated elements respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query. Users who have enabled reduced motion in their operating system settings will see simplified transitions with no large-scale movement.
Minimum Touch Target Size
All interactive elements on mobile viewports meet or exceed the 44x44 CSS pixel minimum touch target size recommended by WCAG 2.5.5 and required by mobile accessibility best practice.
WCAG 2.1 AA Criteria Summary
The table below summarises conformance against the WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA success criteria most relevant to this site. Criteria marked Not Applicable relate to content types not present on this site (for example, pre-recorded audio-only content).

| 1.3.1 Info and Relationships | A | Passes | Semantic HTML5 landmarks and heading hierarchy used throughout. |
| 1.3.3 Sensory Characteristics | A | Passes | Instructions do not rely solely on shape, size, or position. |
| 1.4.1 Use of Colour | A | Passes | Colour is never the sole means of conveying information. |
| 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) | AA | Passes | All text meets the 4.5:1 ratio; large text meets 3:1. |

Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, there are some known limitations. The following items are being actively investigated and remediated:
Calendly Inline Widget
The Calendly booking widget embedded in the Alignment Audit results step is a third-party component. Its internal accessibility is governed by Calendly's own conformance posture. Users who encounter barriers within the Calendly widget should use the direct booking link provided as a fallback, or contact us for an alternative scheduling method.
Animated SVG Infrastructure Map
The animated Revenue Infrastructure Map in the hero section uses SVG animations. The map is marked as aria-hidden and is purely decorative; all informational content it represents is also present in the surrounding text. Users relying on screen readers will not miss any information.
Framer Motion Animations
Scroll-triggered animations are implemented via Framer Motion. While these respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query, users who have not enabled that setting will see motion effects. We are reviewing whether additional controls should be offered.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
This website has been tested with the following assistive technology and browser combinations. Testing was conducted on the current stable version of each tool at the time of this statement.
| Assistive Technology | Browser | Platform | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| NVDA 2024.1 | Chrome 124 | Windows 11 | Supported |
| JAWS 2024 | Chrome 124 | Windows 11 | Supported |
| VoiceOver | Safari 17 | macOS Sonoma | Supported |
| VoiceOver | Safari on iOS 17 | iPhone 15 | Supported |
| TalkBack | Chrome on Android 14 | Android | Supported |
| Keyboard only | Firefox 125 | Windows 11 | Supported |
Third-Party Content
This site links to and embeds third-party services including Calendly for appointment scheduling. These external services are governed by their own accessibility policies and are outside our direct control. We encourage users who encounter accessibility barriers on third-party platforms to contact those providers directly. We select third-party tools with accessibility in mind and will seek alternatives if a tool creates significant barriers for users.
Feedback and Contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter any barriers, experience difficulty accessing any content or feature, or have suggestions for improvement, please reach out. We take all accessibility feedback seriously and aim to respond within five business days.
When contacting us about an accessibility issue, it helps to include: the barrier you encountered, the page or feature affected, the assistive technology and browser you are using, and your preferred method of response.

Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is not a fixed destination. It is a continuous process. We review this statement and our site's accessibility posture on a regular basis, with the next scheduled review on October 27, 2025. As we add new features or content, we evaluate them against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria before release. We are committed to making accessibility a standard part of our development workflow, not an afterthought.
This statement was prepared on April 27, 2025 using a self-assessment carried out by the SYSTEMDRVN development team.
